Fulton and Forbes is a wine and spirits store set in the idyllic and historic town of Ancram, NY. We are located near Ancramdale, Pine Plains, Millerton, Gallatin, Copake, Hillsdale, Taghkanic, and Hudson NY with Connecticut (Salisbury, Sharon, Lakeville and Falls Village) and Massachusetts nearby.

In this quaint cottage building we focus on classic and traditional wines alongside a rotating spirits selection. The wine selection emphasizes small producer and liquor showcase the many great distilleries of the Northeast. We also showcase a collection of beverage wares, everything you will need to outfit your bar or dining room table.

Owner, Rachel Merriam was the wine director and sommelier of Casa Mono & Bar Jamon in Union Square and has worked in many facets of wine. She also graduated Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY which began her career in hospitality, food and beverage.

Fulton and Forbes is the name of the cross streets Rachel's paternal grandfather opened his first business in New Haven, CT. Over seventy years later it is the name she chose to debut her first store.

    Planning a relaxing upstate getaway? Focus on unwinding! Complimentary delivery is available for orders of $100 and over to Columbia County and parts of Duchess, Litchfield, and Berkshire County. Same-day delivery is available most days to keep your weekend stress-free.

  • Wine Club Membership

    3 bottles a month. In store pick up or delivery available. Wine club will launch in the fall.

  • Short Term Rental Owner
