Benanti Etna Rosso 2022

Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grown on sandy volcanic soils across multiple slopes of Etna, ranging from 450 to 900 meters elevation. Rosy florals, juniper berry, wild berries, and sweet spices over a stream of brisk acidity, with mildly grippy tannins and violet inner florals on the fade. Think Pinot Noir meets volcanic rock. Pale in the glass, profound on the palate.
