Hermanos Peciña is classic Rioja at its most honest. Aged two years in used American oak, twice the legal minimum, then over a year in bottle before release. The 2019 is bright red fruit, subtle spice, mushroomy earth, and warming oak with the hallmark tensile acidity that makes this estate so compelling. Cedar, tobacco, and dried cherry on the fade. Built to age, but irresistible now.
