La Caña Albariño 2024

Jorge Ordóñez introduced the US to Albariño in 1991, La Caña is his own statement of what the grape can achieve when taken seriously. Organically farmed, dry farmed old vines in Val do Salnés. Fermented 65% in stainless and 35% in used barrels, aged eight months on the lees with weekly stirring. Salted peaches, white blossoms, briny and tangy on the palate, with an intensely saline finish.
