Méthode Traditionnelle Champagne in every way but name and price. Patrick Piuze's second project sources Chardonnay from limestone and clay soils just 7km from the Champagne border near Tonnerre, harvests early for acidity, and ages a minimum of 13 months on the lees before disgorgement no dosage added. The result: toasted brioche and hazelnuts on the nose, Golden Delicious apple and lemon citrus on the palate, with chalky minerality and dry crispness throughout.
